Fun fact: I studied engineering and math in college and started my professional career designing climbing walls. While that first job was a blast, it wasn't the perfect fit for me. I spent the next 10 years exploring different roles in math, science, and engineering advising, teaching, and mentorship at three different college campuses. These days I feel blessed to spend my days connecting with and assisting students interested in all potential majors here at Western Washington University. And I can certainly relate to not knowing exactly what you want to be when you grow up.

I am originally from upstate New York, close to nature, but far from the West Coast. I have found my people, my vibe, and my place here in Bellingham. For the past 9 years I have spent my free time hiking, kayaking, and paddle boarding through the sunny season, and skiing, baking, and reading through the rainy season.
